– I heard moans and screams of women, I ran and saw a woman with a blue mouth in a visibly altered state, she could barely speak. She told me that the assailant came to meet her, grabbed her by the shoulders, and then pushed her from the shore into the tall grass. Fortunately, a man who lives nearby heard his screams and when the attacker saw him, he started to flee. At that time, I also came and helped her, testified Marina Ostojić, who was an eyewitness to one of those attacks that took place along the coast of Despotovica.
By the way, the road route along the river where the attacks took place is very busy, leading to nearby factories where hundreds of women work.
– We are afraid, our husbands or some of the men take us to work and vice versa. The attacker does not choose the time of day, he attacked in broad daylight. We call on the police to find the attacker as soon as possible or to be on guard on this stretch, so that nothing worse happens – said the women of Milan.
