The disappearance of Lazar Ljubisavljevic, born in 2002, was reported to the police on Saturday 20 March, it was confirmed to Kurir at the Vranje Police Department.
The police immediately began searching for him and issued a report on the missing person on the territory of the entire Republic of Serbia.
The disappearance of the nineteen-year-old was reported by his father.
According to Kurir, Lazar was last seen on March 17, when all traces of him had disappeared. The police have been searching intensely for him ever since.
As Kurir unofficially finds out, Lazar was a protégé of the Home for Children without Parental Care in Belgrade and was cared for by the Center for Social Work. After staying at the house, he returned to his family in Vranje. Friends say he lost his phone.
– We’ve known each other for four years. The last time I heard from him was March 12. I can’t get it since then. I don’t know where he is or what he is now. He is 170 centimeters tall, has lost weight lately. I haven’t seen him in two months. We listened to each other on Facebook, he called me on the phone like that, says Daniela, Lazar’s friend.
He adds that he was told that he was in Vranje, then on a bridge and then in Surdulica.
Danijela is from Belgrade and, as Lazar explains, she returned from Belgrade to Vranje with her family and grandmother.
– Lazar is a great guy and a great guy, positive. My best friend – says and adds:
– I’m worried if you’re hungry and thirsty outside. I hope for a positive result. It will be and must be found and that is all. Last night I wanted to start the car and come to Vranje.
