The body of a 34-year-old man suspected of being Milan Ilic, who disappeared in December last year, was found in a home in Donji Milanovac.
According to the first information, there are no visible traces of violence on the body, so it is suspected that it was a suicide.
Along with the body, personal documents and belongings were found, so it was immediately suspected that it was Milan whose disappearance was reported on December 20 last year, when he was last seen in the Donji Milanovac center. Unofficially, a farewell letter was allegedly found.
The body was found by a policeman who participated in the search for the missing youth. He was passing a house that he knew the owner was currently in Italy, when he noticed an open door. After entering to check if the house had not been broken into, he found the young man’s lifeless body.
An autopsy, as well as a DNA analysis, was ordered to determine the exact cause of death and confirm the identity of the person.
The body that was found was found in the disintegration phase.
Since December 20, the police have been searching for the missing person, have searched the entire bank of the Danube in a diameter of about 40 square kilometers, and all other areas that the family thought should have been visited.
The Bor Police Administration also formed a task force that conducted an operational search for the missing Milan the entire time.
After the body was found, the police conducted an investigation and more details will be known after the investigation.
