Milutin Dedić, a painter, journalist, writer, a native of Šibenik, an old Bohemian from Belgrade and brother of Arsen Dedić, died in Belgrade at the age of 86, as “Novosti” has learned from the consequences of the corona virus.
Since his first child’s drawing of a fountain in Šibenik, Dedić has never ceased to forget with his meticulous drawing and words that exuded poetry, spirit, love of life and people … And great scholarship: a man who, “despite” all subsequent diplomas, he never managed to “graduate” from primary school.
“Our mother, an illiterate but wise and insightful woman, only wanted to get her younger brother Arsen and me off the street, but also to save us the hard working life our father lived,” Dedić told us.
