BELGRADE – In the Crisis Personnel session, which will take place on Monday, the possible introduction of quarantine for returnees from abroad, mainly from Montenegro, will be discussed, where in recent days almost one in three people tested tested positive to the kovid-19 virus.
As could already be read on the Kurir portal and in this morning’s edition of the Kurir newspaper, the issue will be discussed in Monday’s session, but what interests Serbian tourists is how long this possible quarantine could last: 15 days or less because many of them. they immediately plan to return to work and send their children to school.
Many of those who returned recently irresponsibly sent their children to school or returned to work because they “have no symptoms.”
75,000 tourists from Serbia are currently staying in Montenegro, and due to the current epidemiological situation in which in that country of 628,000 inhabitants, about 200 people contract the coronavirus every day, quarantine is possible, announced the Courier in the edition today’s newspaper.
“Until now, no one has proposed quarantine for our citizens returning from Montenegro and other countries where they are on vacation. The quarantine they will have on Monday at the crisis headquarters session will depend on the current epidemiological situation in those countries and In our country”. said epidemiologist Branislav Tiodorović.
According to the Belgrade press, due to the large number of victims in Montenegro, the quarantine could be introduced, but supposedly not for 15 but for five or seven days, because given the stay there, the symptoms and the disease could appear and be tested inside of that period.
