Who replaced Uriah at the head of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija?

The new director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija is Petar Petkovi, who has been the deputy director of that government body until now.

Petkovi replaced Marko Đurio in that position and the transfer of duties took place today at the Palace of Serbia.

In yesterday’s session of the Government of Serbia, Đuri was relieved of his duties as Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija and appointed Ambassador of Serbia to the United States, while Petkovi was appointed to the post of Đuri.

Petkovi has been serving as Deputy Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija since 2016.

He graduated in 2006 from the Faculty of Orthodox Theology and completed his master’s and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Belgrade. He graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2007.

He has worked at the Belgrade Institute for International Politics and Economics since 2007, with the title of Research Associate, where his status is inactive.

Petkovi has been a member of the SNS main board since 2017, was a deputy from 2012 to 2014, while serving as an advisor in the prime minister’s office from 2007 to 2008.

He is married and father of two children.
