Slavko TM (70) and his son Dragan P. (51) died within hours in the tragedy that occurred last night near Lake Bor in the so-called Pirot settlement.
Shortly before 11 p.m., Dragan P. (51) fell ill and called an ambulance. Considering that it is a kind of divided settlement, where there are mostly weekend houses, his mother Slavka TM (70) went out on the road to see when the ambulance would arrive.
At that time, when the woman came out in front of the ambulance, a Fiat Punto car driven by ZM (47) crossed the opposite lane and was moving from the direction of Lake Borsko towards Brestovac and due to the speed and road conditions it did not tight crashed. in Slavko, which was moving along the road.
The unfortunate woman flew within ten meters of the force of the blows and died instantly from her injuries. Doctors did their best to help her son Dragan, they tried resuscitation, but she too passed away.
– The emergency department received a call from the PD patient who stated that he had chest pains and the emergency team immediately began the intervention. As the team approached the designated place, a traffic accident occurred in which a person in the opposite direction collided with another who was on the road. In that accident, the aforementioned person suffered multiple injuries, where the Emergency Service could only declare death. At the same time, the ambulance team took care of the patient and began resuscitation in the resuscitation vehicle to the nearest health institution, where, unfortunately, death was confirmed, it is stated, among other things, in the announcement of the Bor Health Center.
We didn’t find anyone at the place, in the house where Slavka lived. The door was locked and in front of the house by the road next to the parked car we found a bottle of water and sugar, probably in an attempt to help.
Neighbors are shocked by the tragedy.
– I only heard an explosion and an explosion. Our house is a bit far from the accident site, so we didn’t know exactly what happened. We saw the rotating police light and were shocked when we heard in the morning that Slavka was murdered, and especially that her son did not survive the heart attack – says a neighbor.
Another Slavka neighbor points out that Slavka was retired and living alone in a house in the Pirot settlement. Her son Dragan worked in Germany and often went to her mother.
– Slavka was a good woman. I know you also worked in Germany before, where you came from when you retired. Her son also continued to work in Germany and during the summer we saw him come to his mother’s house. They were nice people, it’s a great tragedy what happened – says one of Slavka’s neighbors.
An investigation was carried out at the accident site and, by order of the prosecutor, the driver of the “Fiat Punta” ZM had blood drawn for a breathalyzer test. There was no suspension of traffic.
An autopsy of the deceased woman’s body was also ordered.
ZM’s arrest was ordered for up to 48 hours due to the suspicion that he committed serious acts against the safety of public traffic. As we learn, he stopped the car when he hit the unfortunate woman and waited at the scene until the police arrived.
