Members of the Main Board of the Democratic Party collected the signatures of more than a third of the members of the OSC and scheduled a session of that body for Sunday, “Blic” found out. Since the session was scheduled and then canceled due to the state of emergency, it will practically continue on Sunday. The main item on the agenda, as we have learned, will be the firing of DS leader Zoran Lutovac.
According to our source, some members of the OSC, dissatisfied with the party’s situation, decided on this movement. The collection of signatures lasted until last night, and the decision to hold the OSC was supported by 133 members of that body.
– We have collected more than a third of the signatures of the members of the Main Board, which is enough to schedule an OSC session. People are unsatisfied, the party is almost non-existent, we have a leader without any authority and we can no longer wait – says the source of “Blic” from the top of the DS and affirms that Vice President Sasa Paunovic, International Secretary Jovana Majstorovic, former youth president left the party. Velibor Pavlović, as well as Secretary General Gordana Čomić.
Also, he notes, the formation of a large DS has been waiting for over a year, because obviously someone’s interests are not to allow a strong and large DS.
– 70 percent of the organization that was the only politically organized infrastructure that would oppose the Aleksandar Vučić regime was dissolved – says our source.

DS Executive Board President Dušan Kostadinović announced yesterday at the DS Presidency session that he would file criminal charges against those who want the Main Board, which means he would file criminal charges against more than a third of the members of CSOs.
When asked how they intend to occupy the Main Board, considering the situation with the crown, our interlocutor says that one of the deputies sent an official parliamentary question to the Ministry of Health and received a recommendation under what conditions and under what protection measures can conduct such a meeting.
