Several prominent members of the Democratic Party, who signed off in support of the DS Main Board session on Sunday, requested a meeting with current DS leader Zoran Lutovac, however he declined, “Blic” found out.
According to the source of “Blic” from the top of the DS, several prominent names, some of whom are even the founders of this party, wanted to point out to Lutovac the mistakes that were made in the previous period.
– Through the conversation, we wanted to point out to the President of the Democratic Party all the mistakes that were made in the previous two years. The same source claims that the initiators of the meeting wanted to appeal to stop condemning those who think differently.
– We also wanted to appeal to the President to stop calling a different opinion “the overthrow of the DS of Vučić”, because nobody in the DS is, nor will be, Vučić. We have been opponents of this regime for the past 30 years, not just these two. We respect the DS’s decisions on the Alliance for Serbia and the boycott of the elections, says the same source.
Zoran Lutovac replied in writing that there was no time for a meeting.
Among the initiators of the meeting are some great names of Democrats: prof. Ognjenovic life, prof. Dragoslav Šumarac, Ph.D. Dragan Domazet, head of the DS parliamentary club in the Serbian Parliament Goran Ciric, and prominent members Branislav Lecic, Tamara Tripic, Vojislav Jankovic … The letter was officially sent by the professor.
