The opening of the gas pipeline is scheduled for six in the morning, in Gospoinci, in the municipality of Abalj.

The opening of Balkan Stream, as President Vui said yesterday, is a great day for Serbia and, in economic terms, for the population and industry.

By the way, the length of the main gas pipeline in Serbia is 403 kilometers from the Bulgarian border to the Hungarian, that is, from Zajear to Horgo.

The “Turkish Stream” gas pipeline is a project of the Russian “Gazprom” and the Turkish “Bota”, which should provide a stable gas supply to Turkey, June and Southeast Europe.

The gas pipeline is 930 kilometers long and has a capacity of 31.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year.

The first branch goes through Turkey, while the second branch goes to Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary.

Serbia and Bulgaria call this part of the gas pipeline “Balkan Stream”.

The capacity of each arm is 15.75 billion cubic meters of gas.

This amount of energy is enough to meet the needs of 15 million medium-sized homes.
