Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated that Serbia cannot accept that the representatives of Priština do not comply with the obligations of the previous agreements, mainly in relation to the establishment of the Union of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO).
He said that Pristina committed to the creation of the JCC “without the conditions of any recognition.”
“The story of mutual recognition does not make sense for Serbia, but Pristina like to repeat it like parrots. Pristina cannot invent new agreements that do not exist. This shows that they essentially do not want a compromise,” Vucic said after a session of the Serbian government dedicated to, among others, Kosovo and Metohija.
Vučić stated that the Priština authorities “played a trick” not to implement the JCC establishment as agreed in the negotiations in Brussels, but Serbia will not give up.
He said that “the essence was that the management team was competent, and not the Government of Kosovo, to draft the statute of the JCC”, which then the Government should only declare.
“Three or four of us who participated in the negotiations know it. They did a trick, they rushed before the management team and presented the first Brussels agreement and the formation of the JCC to the Constitutional Court of Kosovo for it to decide, so that they say that it’s impossible, “said Vucic.
Vučić said that “we had a conflict over the essence all the time”, and the Serbian side insisted on “changing the legal framework”.
“If something is in accordance with the Kosovo Constitution, talks with Serbia were not necessary,” Vucic said, adding that “adjusting the legal framework means changing the laws.”
Vučić stated that he has been listening to the betrayal of Kosovo for eight years, although he fights every day to improve the situation of the Serbian people there.

Vučić said that in the third quarter, GDP growth relative to the second quarter was 11 percent, and that the drop compared to the same period last year was 1.3 percent.
He announced significant investments in mining, energy, construction, traffic and infrastructure, mainly in the construction of the gas pipeline, and said that 14.4 billion dinars of additional investment in road maintenance had been provided.

He pointed out that Serbia should compete with other countries in the economy and try to be the best at it.

She added that Serbia should have good relations with all countries and be proud of the results.
