Veljko Belivuk (36), also known as Velja Nevolja, and Pljevljak Darko Saric (50) neighbors They are being held in the Belgrade Special Prison, Objektiv has learned. The leader of a criminal group was recently arrested he is in one of the cells of the well-guarded prison on Ustanička Street, where Šarić has been held for seven years.

– After the arrest, Belivuk and his 14 associates were transferred to the Ustanička Street Prison, while the other six are in the Central Prison. During the investigation, he is unable to meet with his accomplices, who are in 14 cells. Belivuk is also unable to meet Saric, who has been in the detention unit of the Special Court in Belgrade since his voluntary surrender on March 18, 2014. Saric is alone in cell 117 and, above all, takes a walk around the circle of the prison. Now he is awaiting a decision from the Supreme Court of Cassation, to which his lawyers have submitted a request for protection of legality, requesting the nullification of the 15-year prison sentence to which he was convicted on charges of smuggling 5.7 tons of cocaine, and is deciding on them again. His lawyers have announced that they will also present appeals to the Belgrade Court of Appeals against the verdict that sentences Saric to nine years in prison on charges that he and his group laundered at least 20 million euros acquired through cocaine smuggling, says the source.

The cells of Belivuk and Saric, like all the others, are covered by cameras.

– Belivuk and Saric are detained in strict custody. Arrested, Saric reads books and all the daily press, and also trains. As a native, he acquired the right to privacy with his wife after five years, while now only his wife comes to visit Belivuk, says the Objektiv source.
