Tonight, the Minister of Health, Zlatibor Lončar, told the citizens of Serbia that they can help the health workers, who are burning and who fight heroically against the corona virus for exactly eight months in Serbia, by not making any contact unnecessary in the next 10 days.

Loncar told RTS that it is necessary to save and preserve the health system and pointed out that it depends exclusively on citizens.

“If we adhere to the measures, then we are on the right track. Do not make the necessary contacts in the next 10 days, wear a mask inside, wash your hands, adhere to the measures, it will help all health workers, the Serbian health system more, “Loncar said.

According to him, there are also those who think they can cheat the system and after the cafes close, they rent a house in which a large number gather.

“This has been going on for a long time and citizens are overwhelmed to hear about the crown, but these are practical things. We have to live with the crown and wait for the day when we say we have a safe vaccine, when the majority will dawn and then We will have light at the end of the tunnel. “Loncar said.

He illustrated with figures to the citizens what the struggle of health workers with the corona virus looks like and in that sense stated that only today KBC “Dragiša Mišović” received 59 patients with kovid, which in Belgrade in just seven days were examined 20,000 patients in kovid clinics, and that KBC Zvezdara consumes as much oxygen in a day as he normally consumes in more than a month.

When asked how far the Serbian health care system is ahead of the corona virus at the moment, Loncar said the health care system is always ahead of the crown when there is room for all patients to enter the hospital.

He stressed that only President Vučić, in addition to the Chinese president, built two kovid hospitals, one of which will start operating on December 1 and the other on December 15, with 1,500 places.

Those two hospitals need 3,500 healthcare workers, Loncar said.

Asked how long this situation will last, the Minister of Health said that it depends on the vaccine and said that if it appears in December or January, “we will have a light at the end of the tunnel.”

“But surrender is not an option and we will take care of this as well,” Loncar concluded.
