Taking into account all of the above and respecting that we were the first in the region and the second in continental Europe to get a corona vaccine and begin to immunize the most vulnerable population, in accordance with the opinion of the profession and the recommendations of WHO, we think it is in our interest. “To save a greater number of citizens from the consequences of this pandemic, and thereby save the life of anyone who may be in danger of death by receiving the crown,” Loncar said.

“President Vučić suggested to me that from the first contingent of vaccines against the crown, which we expect in early January, we provide certain amounts for other nations and environments in Kosovo and Metohija,” the minister noted.

Regarding immunization in northern Kosovo, Loncar said:

“In the last two days, hundreds of citizens have been vaccinated in Kosovo and Metohija, who have been provided prevention against this deadly infection, thus saving them from the potentially fatal consequences of this pandemic.”

“We believe that it is the goal of every responsible government in this world, of every man, to do his utmost to save at least one human life, let alone hundreds and thousands of them,” Loncar concluded in an interview with Index Online.
