Yesterday, the police arrested NI (55) on suspicion that she killed her friend Sandra Dragičević (47) on the night between Sunday and Monday at her apartment in Žarkovo, Belgrade.
The crime occurred approximately two hours after midnight, and the NI itself called the police. However, as we found out, she claimed that she did not kill her friend, but found her dead on her return from the store.
A bed soaked in blood
– On the bed was found the body of a woman without pants and with a cut groin, which was soaked in blood. NI allegedly told the police that he went to get cigarettes, and when he returned, he found Sandra and her neighbor dead in the apartment – says an investigation source:
– NI was confused and bloody, supposedly the slit was unbuttoned. He also said the wrong name of the deceased. The police held a conversation yesterday with a neighbor, whom the suspect mentioned, who identified the unfortunate woman.
– He said it was Sandra Dragičević, who has been coming to NI for three months. She arrived at the apartment on Saturday with a friend, who left in the meantime – adds the source.
At the crime scene, the suspect was taken to the horror apartment by the police.
Yesterday, the police arrived at the scene of the crime with forensic experts, but also with the suspect NI, who was ordered to remain in detention for up to 48 hours. He sat in the car for a while and then the inspectors took him to the apartment with a hood over his head and a mask on his face. NI was then taken away, and forensic experts removed clothing and other items from the apartment, and also searched the surroundings, probably looking for the weapon with which the woman was killed.
Police removed from the apartment a broken broom handle with traces of blood, a screwdriver and a nail file. – The woman’s artery was torn, so it is assumed that she bled to death. An autopsy was also ordered, which will show whether she was raped before her death, the source explained.
The motive of the crime is being investigated and, according to the first information of the investigation, both the murdered and NI consumed alcohol. – NI is known to the police for acts with elements of violence. And the murdered woman has a file. She was arrested for robbery, extortion and drugs, and allegedly had a narcotics problem, the source explained.
I used to drink and smoke cigarettes
A neighbor who identified the murdered woman confirmed to Kurir that the police had awakened him. – I have known Sandra for several years and she started coming here three months ago. I warned her that NI was troublesome and that she was taking care of it, but I don’t know why she was there all the time. I also saw that she came here on Saturday – says the neighbor.
Other neighbors had no words of praise for the detainees. – He often came into conflict with the neighbors and a man beat him because he tried to steal his shoes. At night, he would knock on our door, shake cigarettes and drinks, the neighbors say.
