– At first it seemed as if the train was passing somewhere under the building. There was a crash, and then everything shook with a mighty detonation. I thought there was nothing behind the door of my apartment, that everything had been blown up. I saw a fire through the window, it was a flame that was spreading from Dragana’s apartment below – says one of the tenants, Aleksandar Ristović.
According to unofficial data, and the account of the neighbors, it is possible that Dragana, after returning from a walk on Saturday night, went to the bathroom and tried to turn on the bathroom bulb or the boiler, and that the explosion came from a spark in the switch. turned on the gas.
– Weeks before the explosion gas was felt in the building, we denounced it several times to the authorities, no one reacted. No one in the building has a gas bottle.
