The youth of the People’s Party stated that Vučić, as a first-year student at the Belgrade Sports School, was without a mask at the reception for freshmen on Friday, which “put everyone in the room in danger” and violated the measures taken by the Crisis Personnel of the Republic and the Government of Serbia in the fight against the coronavirus.

“It is especially problematic that the photos that he (Vučić) published personally show that he is the only one without a mask, as well as that his assistant Suzana Vasiljević, who is not a student at that school, wears a mask inappropriately,” it reads in the communiqué of the Popular Youth Party.

“At the moment when a new wave of epidemics and tightening of measures are announced, and epidemiologists warn us of the danger, such behavior of one person in a room of 30 people is completely irresponsible,” said a member of that organization, Petar Mitov.

Mitov called on the authorities to “urgently prosecute first-year offender Vučić.”

Additionally, Mitov “congratulated freshman Vučić” on starting his studies and wished him “to stay away from hooligans who destroy sports.”
