Strahinja Stojanovic (30) from Belgrade, who died today after the explosion of the jeep “BMW X5” in which he was with Sonja Suárez Gómez, 45, has been known for a long time by the police, but also by the national public , for his turbulent past and thick record.
Stojanović succumbed to injuries he received during the explosion that occurred while the vehicle was moving on Omladinskih Brigada Street in New Belgrade.
– It exploded so hard that we all ran away, it was a horrible sight, a man was lying bloody on the street – said a witness from a nearby bar.
Strahinja was arrested several times for serious crimes and convicted of coercion and weapons. His closeness to the Sharanović clan is reflected in the friendly relationship he had with Miloš Delibašić, Sharanović’s nephew, who was liquidated from a moving car in 2017 in Budva.
A car bomb and a lack of Spain
Today’s fatal explosion marks the first time a bomb has been planted in Stojanović’s car. It happened for the first time in August of last year, when an Audi car exploded in the Galenika settlement in Zemun, where, at the time of the detonation, there was a former miss from Spain and his girlfriend Olat Bilbao González (21). The bomb was apparently intended for him, but he escaped the blast due to a combination of circumstances: he returned to the apartment to obtain his mobile phone.
This explosion was preceded by a stay in prison until April 2018, where a general danger must have been caused, but also by the murder of the well-known Belgrade lawyer Dragoslav Mišo Ognjanović, with whom Stojanović is related.
Assassination of Mišo Ognjanović
Ognjanovic himself testified before the murder that he suspected Stojanovic and another man were continually following him.
Ognjanovic was assassinated on July 28 at the building’s house in New Belgrade, where he lived with his wife and baby, while his eldest son Petar was with him at the time of the settlement, when one of the shots hit him in the fist.
Seven months later, investigative actions and evidence gathering led to two suspects who could be direct perpetrators of the murder or logistical support, one of whom, as media reported, is the brother of the murdered leader of Red Star fans. , and the other, Strahinja Stojanovic from Zemun.

Godfather with Vidaković, then wounding
Strahinja is alleged to have injured his godfather, Miloš Vidaković, in Galenica in April 2013, and the motive was Vidaković’s wife. Although he knew who hurt him, Vidaković did not want the police to reveal it.
Stojanović was also suspected of ordering the murder of his godfather Vidaković, which took place in front of 500 witnesses in Budva on July 2, 2013. The murder was admitted by Miloš Vojnović, but Branislav Šaranović was listed in the indictment as the person who ordered it.
The prosecution also alleges that Stojanovic’s DNA was found in an apartment in Budva where Milos Delibasic and other murder defendants were hiding.

Suspected of killing your father?
Strahinja’s father, Paja Stojanović, was killed on September 24, 2015 in the building at 31 Jovana Stojisavljevića street in the Galenika settlement in Zemun, and that settlement has yet to be resolved. Stojanović was killed on the fourth floor, in front of the door of the apartment of his father-in-law and his mother-in-law, but the killer fired the first shot at him in front of the building’s entrance.
