The Government of Serbia today approved the draft law for the ratification of the second additional protocol to the Universal Postal Convention, which establishes the right to universal postal service in a single postal territory, under equal conditions and at affordable prices.

“Serbia, as a member of the Universal Postal Union, by applying that law, defines more precisely the conditions under which the authorized postal operator will perform international services, that is, it specifies the obligations to guarantee the exchange of postal items in accordance with the principle of reciprocity, respecting the principle of free movement “. in a sentence.

It is added that the application of this law will fully guarantee compliance with all international environmental protection standards and will improve the safety of shipments, as well as the safety of users and employees.

The Draft Law of Ratification of the Agreement between the Governments of Serbia and Russia for Cooperation in the Fight against Terrorism was also approved, in order to intensify the exchange of operational information and professional experiences in this field.

The session adopted the Draft Law of Ratification of the Cooperation Agreement between Serbia and Iran in the field of Phytosanitary Protection and Plant Quarantine, as well as the amended Decree on the appearance, form and content of the official plate and identification card official.

According to the statement, the program for the development of the Cacak Science and Technology Park from 2021 to 2025 was adopted, in whose construction more than 330 million dinars were invested, and which is recognized as one of the most important strategic projects for the city of Cacak and Moravica.
