LUČANI – On the Guča – Čačak road, there was a traffic accident in which a woman lost her life.
As the RINA agency unofficially learns, the accident occurred when the driver of the “Audi” car with Lucan plates, which was moving from the direction of Guca, lost control of the vehicle on a slight curve and flew under a “Volvo truck. “which came in the opposite direction.
Due to the force of the side impact, a middle-aged woman, who was a co-driver in the “Audi”, lost her life on the spot, and a 20-year-old girl who was driving was taken to the Čačak hospital with serious bodily injuries.
“We heard a big bang, and when we hit the road we saw a terrible sight. The car was so wrecked that the firefighters had to cut it down to get the driver and co-pilot out,” one of the witnesses told RINA.
This is not the first traffic accident on this stretch, because a pedestrian who was hit by a car died almost in the same place some time ago.
Traffic was interrupted for a time and vehicles turned to the surrounding alternate routes.
