As announced by the Episcopal Council of the Serbian Orthodox Church, tomorrow October 31, at the Monastery of Cetinje, on the feast of St. Peter of Cetinje, at 9 am, the Holy Funeral Liturgy will be served.
The remains of Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Litoral were removed from the Podgorica Clinical Center today and transferred to Cetinje.
The transfer of the remains from the hospital was accompanied by several dozen priests and believers who were crying.
– On the same day at 1:00 p.m., there will be a solemn farewell to the remains of Metropolitan Amfilohije from the Monastery of Cetinje to Podgorica, where they will be received with prayer at 2:00 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Podgorica. It will be in the Temple until Sunday, November 1, when the Archbishop’s Holy Liturgy will be served, which will be presided over by His Holiness Patriarch Irinej with various archbishops of our country and other local Churches. After the liturgy, the intoxication will be served and the funeral will take place, previously announced from the MCP.
