That is pure insolence, but also hypocrisy! This is the real reason

BELGRADE – This is sheer insolence and hypocrisy! And this is the third or fourth time that I have not been allowed to enter Kosovo. I can’t even count. But this time, I am also surprised by the ban because it occurs after the Washington agreement, in which one of the points is the recognition of diplomas. And the beginning of the little Schengen, as we have with North Macedonia and Albania. I suppose they care that our education in Kosovo and Metohija works very well, Education Minister Mladen Šarčević told Kurir after the Pristina authorities’ decision not to allow him to enter Kosovo today.

– Well, we left Kosovo and Metohija with the school year later because of them because they weren’t ready by September 1, and then we moved, although everything was ready and organized, so that the sanitary inspectors would not punish our directors of school. reasons. They didn’t allow their schools to start and then they made everything up for us and punished us, just so we wouldn’t be better. My arrival in Kosovska Mitrovica, where the temporary headquarters of the University of Pristina is located, and on the occasion of the beginning of the school year, was announced on time, and yesterday, like my predecessor, representatives of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija and my chief of staff. I was moving from Nis to Jarinje not to go, I was forbidden to enter.

– They cited some political relations as motives, some arrests in southern Serbia, and that has nothing to do with education, even if there is such a thing. Even with Resolution 1244, which is valid, I am paid and authorized to visit students in Kosovo and Metohija. This is sheer insolence. It’s about the recognition of diplomas, now they are putting pressure on foreign embassies, demanding that those with Kosovo diplomas teach in Presevo and Bujanovac. That is why the minister cannot come down. Pure hypocrites. And I received their so-called Minister of Education under pressure from the EU, and now they are coming back like this – Šarčević added.

Šarčević added the following: “We will oppose the representatives of the European Commission in Belgrade, to influence these people to behave civilly and work on the recognition of diplomas because it is in the interest of young people. Five days ago we acquired all the books of textbooks in Preševo and Bujanovac, our ministry gave money and made a great effort for what the largest Albanian national minorities should have done. That the Serbs do not have textbooks in Albania. “
