For all the falsehoods that are published daily in the tabloids and on some televisions in Serbia about United Group co-owner Dragan Solak, Solak sued Pink International Company doo, Broadcasting Company Studio B doo, Insider Team doo who is the official owner of the tabloid Informer and Dragan J. Vucicevic. The Zurich District Court delivered a verdict irrefutably found that the accused media had violated Dragan Šolak’s right to personality.
The district court determined that these media carried out a media campaign against the prosecutor, falsely accusing him and publishing falsehoods related to the prosecutor’s own personality and way of doing business and his alleged political commitment, expressing comments and opinions in order to portray the prosecutor in a negative way. .
The accused media did not prove any of the accusations they publish in court.
The Swiss court ruled that the accused media outlets were obliged to pay Dragan Solak compensation in foreign currency (CHF), that they had to remove the pages of all texts and links to programs in which they violated personal rights, as well as refrain from future repetitions of this part. and publish the content of the sentence.
Pink, Studio B, Informer and Dragan J. Vučićević are also obliged to reimburse the applicant for the costs of the proceedings.
This verdict specifically prohibits Informer editor-in-chief Dragan J. Vučićević from making statements that violate Dragan Šolak’s personal rights. The verdict of the Zurich District Court became final on September 15, 2020.
Dragan Šolak, who has lived in Switzerland for years, sought justice in a Swiss court, where, in his opinion, the accused media do not enjoy the protection of the ruler. Dragan Šolak will also file lawsuits against other outlets that have, meanwhile, presented various falsehoods about him and misled the public by misleading the citizens of Serbia with outright lies.
