Hao’s happiness changed when a barber offered him a short haircut and beard.
“I asked him if he was hungry and if he wanted something to eat. He refused to eat and asked for a razor to shave. The store staff came up with the idea to help him in a different way and beautify him.” Alessandro, the owner of the hairdresser, told UOL.
The employees not only cut Hao’s hair, but also shaved it and provided the proper hygienic conditions for him to take a shower. They didn’t know that posting their transformation on social media would surprise their family, who thought Hao had passed away 10 years ago.
“We have various projects on social media and we like to help people, whoever they are. In this period when the pandemic is at its peak, many people have financial problems. A little help in difficult times means a lot to some.” Alessandro said.
After Hao’s transformation photo became popular on Instagram, his family was in shock.
His sister Marija recognized him in the photo. He lives in Brazil and has been waiting 10 years to hear the news about him because he thought he was dead.
However, although the owners of the barbershop arranged a meeting with his sister, he was happy to see her, but did not want to live with her, since she said she felt free on the street.
The owner of a hair salon in Brazil did not want to reveal the reason why Hao was left homeless, but he is glad to have reunited him with his family in some way.
