He ran his office for almost 30 years. She earned a diploma and letter from many years of work in the Gynecologists Association of the former Great Yugoslavia and the Annual Kikinda Award for the success, dedication and inexhaustible energy she gave to generations of mothers and their newborn children. Dr. Rankov also worked in Kosmet for some time.

He was also very active in the General Association of Kikinda Entrepreneurs and was president of that association for a time. He was a prominent member and president of the Rotary Club of Kikinda. Although the least is known about it, he has always been a humanist. He gave scholarship money to top students who applied to Rotary club competitions. In addition to the regular number of scholarships, Dr. Rankov always donated at least one more.

Born in Srpska Crnja, he graduated from Belgrade Faculty of Medicine, where he specialized. He studied at the Ljubljana Clinical Center, GAK in Belgrade and “Royal Alexander Hospital” in Canada.

Generations of Kikinda women will remember you as their chosen gynecologist. He often collaborated with the media and was always in the mood to talk to journalists about medical issues and entrepreneurship issues.

With the exception of Dr. Branislav Blazic, a former secretary of state who died in Belgrade, where he lived, Dr. Dragan Rankov is the first Kikinda doctor to die from the effects of covid 19 disease.
