United Democratic Serbia proposes to abolish the RTS because, as they estimate, even after 20 years, it has not become a serious public service and does not fulfill the legal functions and qualities of the program that it would have to show.

UDS states that RTS is politically biased, programmatically poor and unconvincing, organizationally too costly and inefficient, and that its work hurts all citizens of Serbia.
They also evaluate that RTS cannot work and serve as a public service for the needs of all citizens who, with their subscription and additionally, finance it with the budget, and that it is not a public service in the segment of political information or in other areas where it had to be.
UDS believes that there is no political pluralism, serious social and political analysis, capacity and willingness to offer the public a balanced and professional image of Serbia in real-time strategy programs.
They estimate that in RTS there are no parties or respect for the needs of different groups in society, as well as places or interests for a quality educational, cultural and scientific program, as well as feelings for the needs of people in different parts of Serbia. .
So, they say, the best and most efficient way is to abolish RTS “public service” by amending the law, which is why, they say, UDS will advocate.
UDS also proposes that, with other amendments to the law, the forms of financing and work of those parts of the public service that have special cultural and other importance, such as musical orchestras and artistic and cultural resources that are now within, be preserved. from RTS.
