The Geodetic Authority of the Republic (RGZ) currently lacks 367 experts to fill all the positions provided by the new systematization, it was announced from that institute.
The RGA declared that the system was “overloaded” due to the increase in the number of requests coming from citizens that need to be answered.
Professional users have access to the “eCounter” service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and in this way the number of reception points for citizen requests has increased dramatically, explained the RGA.
They stated that the number of applications submitted has increased due to the awareness of the importance of registration in the real estate cadastre, to which the new legal framework has contributed.
“With a high number of vacancies and insufficient staff capacity to carry out the tasks entrusted to it by law, the RGA has entered a situation that endangers the efficient functioning of the territorial administration system,” the statement read.
They also indicated from this institute that they hope that the new Government of Serbia will adopt urgent measures that allow the rapid and efficient recruitment of professional personnel in the public job tender.
