Ljig – Jelena Djokovic’s grandfather, Milosav Radisavljevic Losa, passed away at the age of 82 and was buried today in the Velisevac village cemetery near Ljig. He was sent to eternal rest by his family, relatives and friends, as well as by his granddaughter Jelena Djokovic, wife of the best Serbian tennis player.

Milosavlje’s name was made public when he was kidnapped in 2018, when thieves broke into his home and took 26,000 dinars from his wallet, then took him out and tied him to a power line in a corn field near the town of Ćućin.

Then it was speculated that the kidnappers asked the family for a two million euro ransom.

When they found Milosav, he had no visible injuries, but as he said at the time, he suffered great fear.

After the kidnapping, she moved to Belgrade with her son and then to the Nursing Home, where she remained until her death.

A year ago, the Belgrade Court of Appeal sentenced a BM man to ten years in prison for his abduction.

Milosav spent his entire life and working life in Ljig, and according to the locals, he loved his village where he kept his property and raised animals. He worked in the municipality of Ljig and Ad Livnica.
