That great and true love between a man and a woman knows no obstacles, without borders, without kilometers, without nationality, without different cultures, languages … Tunisian Najla Nefzaoui (22), who now has the surname Kocic, says. us, because of his great love for Miloš from Prokuplje, he left his home and moved to Serbia.
According to Niall, she met her current husband 9 months ago in Tunis, at the company where they both worked. It seems like it was a crush at first sight that soon turned into love, and one that doesn’t ask for barriers.
– We work in the same company and we were in a relationship, while we were both in Tunisia, for three months. After that, Milos had to return to Serbia, with the organized transport that the company provided for the workers, but I couldn’t be with him then. However, I managed to move to Serbia, that is, to Prokuplje, a month later; This Tunisian woman will begin her unusual story.
She has been living in Serbia for six months and spends her time, among other things, learning the Serbian language and researching our culture, customs and traditions. She is currently unemployed and in her spare time she weaves afro ponytails for her clients in Prokuplje.
In addition to his native Arabic, he speaks French, English, and even Turkish. And now he speaks to us in almost fluent Serbian, after 5 months of learning the language. He is currently looking for work and during that time he is reading and writing.
– I think my communication in Serbian is going well and I am interesting to people here precisely because of the way I speak. In Tunisia, I dedicated myself to photography in a company, I worked in a market, in the production of cherry tomatoes, there was a lot, a lot of work – says our interlocutor.
When asked what he likes most about Serbia, he jokes and smiles: “My husband.”
– Almost everything is beautiful, there are many beautiful places in Serbia. One of those places that I really liked was Nis, there is a lot to see and visit. Also, I liked Prolom Banja, which is beautiful both to walk and to enjoy – says Najla.
The Tunisian woman admits that she misses her mother more from her homeland, but that the void is filled by her husband Miloš’s relatives, who, as she claims, are very good people.
– In general, the people in Serbia are good. The relatives I came to are also very good, as if I were with my family. I still don’t have many friends, but I’m making friends, they are interested, and especially the way I talk … I still don’t go out much. For now, my friends are all friends of my family – says Najla, who saw snow for the first time in her life when she arrived in Serbia.
