The consultations of the medical part of the Crisis Staff and the representatives of the Government were completed after more than an hour and a half, “Blic” has learned. According to the first information, it is certain that the measures that will refer to the next few days will be more strict, but the exact restrictions, as well as what exactly it will refer to, will be known tomorrow.

The members of the crisis staff – medical part and representatives of the Government of Serbia met today at 3.30 pm to make a decision on further measures. As we have learned, this decision will be released to the public tomorrow, but it is quite certain that the restrictions will be tightened in the coming days.

Yesterday and today in Serbia, according to the latest decision of the Crisis Staff for the fight against coronavirus on Friday, everything is closed except grocery stores, pharmacies and gas stations. It was also decided that high school students should continue with online classes next week, and the novelty is that starting tomorrow, distance education students will join them in distance education. According to the current measures, there were no restrictions during the working day for a long time, and the catering facilities were allowed to operate until 8:00 p.m.

Prime Minister Ana Brnabić also stated earlier that she would have a meeting with the medical side of crisis personnel today, noting that measures against the corona virus will have to be strengthened.

– We will certainly have to tighten the measures, but we will see what can be done and what is the smartest thing to do – said Brnabić in the village of Junkovac in Lazarevac, answering questions from journalists about whether the measures will be tightened. .

The Prime Minister affirmed that the medical part of the Crisis General Staff insists on hardening the measures.

– We are trying to find a balance and I think we are achieving it, because in general we still have quite good indicators, both economic and health – said the Prime Minister.
