According to him, some of them did not become part of the accusation of the Special Court of The Hague and, from them, new accusations can be expected.

– We distributed these secret and illegal detentions in the areas of responsibility of the KLA, to reach those responsible who controlled them. There are people who ran those camps in which they tortured and killed people, and there is a command responsibility of the commanders of those operational areas of the KLA, because the prisons were located on their territory – said Drecun.

According to him, the KLA’s operational zones are in question: Lab, Shala, Drenica, Nerodimlje, Pastrik, Dukagjini and Karadak, along with the site in northern Albania.

– There were 10 camps in the operational area of the KLA Lab. The commander was Rustem Mustafa alias Remi. There were 13 camps in the Shala area and the commander was Rahman Rama. There were 16 camps in the KLA area of Drenica, and the commander was Sami Ljustak, while in the Nerodimlje area we searched 18 illegal prisons that were under the command of Shukri Buja, as well as Beg Bajram, and after Musli Isak is called Churchiz. When it comes to the operational area of the KLA Pastrik, there were more, up to 37 camps, and the commander was Ekrem Rexha. There were 33 camps in the Dukagjini operational zone, and the commander there was Ramush Haradinaj. In the KLA Karadak area, there were 26 camps and the commander was Isufi Ahmet, alias Rexha. We have established the existence of six secret camps in northern Albania – said Drecun.

He said new accusations can be expected based on documentation from those camps.

– If they continue to present accusations, then the commanders of these areas are the ones who should be in these accusations, among others. They mentioned two camps in Albania, but we know of at least six – explained Drecun.

He recalled that because of that, they formed a working group in the parliament in Albania, which should determine whether Dick Marty’s accusations that crimes were committed there are true.

– However, who should lead the working group said immediately that they would prove that there was no crime. This indicates that the objective of the working group is to deny that crimes were committed on the territory of Albania, and thus avoid Albania’s responsibility. However, Albania has been involved in the prosecution against Thaci and the three, and is responsible for the crimes committed. You can’t say that you didn’t know what was going on, that you had no control. I am thinking if our working group should send an invitation for a meeting, to present you information about the crimes committed by the KLA in northern Albania, and if you are interested, we can give you information about the territory of Kosovo and Metohija. Then they can’t say later that they didn’t know – Drecun pointed out.

He believes that this is being done by international public opinion, to try to remove responsibility from Albania for the crimes, because, as he said, the prosecution also severely accuses Albania.
