Nemanja A. (18) from Zaplanjska Toponica was stabbed to death shortly before six in the morning in an alley in his native village. The suspect in the murder is Milan T. (18), also from Zapanjska Toponica, who was taken to the Nis Clinical Center with knife wounds. Naca, fourteen years old, girlfriend of the murdered Nemanja, was hospitalized in the same institution with injuries.

The sad news of Nemanja’s suffering came around six in the morning with a phone call from an unknown woman.
“A woman called to go find Nemanja because he is lying in the street. We ran like without a soul and found him in a pool of blood. According to the first reports from doctors at the Nis Clinical Center, the wounded Milan is undergoing several operations. He has a stab wound to the chest and his condition is critical. The police, meanwhile, carried out an investigation in various places in the city. Dejan T., the father of suspect Milan T., claims his son was not in conflict with Nemanja.
“Around six in the morning, Nemanja came to our door with his girlfriend and asked for help, saying that someone had attacked him. Milan then went to escort and protect them, but soon came back and shouted: ‘They stabbed me, let’s go to the doctor.’ “The two were not in conflict. If Nemanja and Milan were direct participants in the bloody fight or there were others who drew knives, the police are checking,” says Dejan T.
