The situation in this city is becoming worrying.
Kragujevac, which ranked second on the list in terms of the number of newly infected with the corona virus for nearly a week, has now “given up” that spot to Valjevo, with the capital, as expected, still number one.
In the last 24 hours, 6,715 people were tested for the corona virus in Serbia, 416 of them tested positive, while, unfortunately, two people died, the latest corona data for Serbia.

Of the total number of newly infected, 218 new covid positives were registered in Belgrade, representing 52.4 percent. Immediately after, Valjevo remains with 20, and in third place is now Kragujevac with 16, who had 23 to 26 new infections a few days ago.
Two days ago, Dr. Predrag Kon, an epidemiologist and crisis staff member, characterized these three cities as critical.

– It is obvious that we have an increase in the number of infected people, including Belgrade, Kragujevac and Valjevo, but it is important that we reduce transmission in the next period. It is a natural process and it only depends on our behavior how much we slow it down, and it can take 12 to 16 weeks with deceleration – said epidemiologist Dr. Predrag Kon and practically predicted that we will deal with this, the third corona wave, until February in the best case, if we slow it down.
Of the other cities, today 11 new infected are registered in Novi Sad, 8 in Vranje, Loznica, Prijepolje, Trstenik 7 each, Aleksandrovac, Mionica, Kraljevo, Zrenjanin and Smederevo 6 each, Merošina 5 and the others less.
