Another municipality in Serbia today made the decision to declare a state of emergency: Svilajnac.
Today a session of the Svilajnac Municipality Crisis Personnel was held, in which numerous decisions and conclusions were made on the declared emergency situation due to the spread of the infectious disease kovid-19.
In addition to the emergency situation, the following decisions were made in the Crisis Personnel session:
In the period from November 17 to December 1, working hours of catering facilities, shops, shopping centers and other retail stores, theaters and cinemas, organizers of special and classic games of chance, except the working hours of pharmacies , gas stations in the sales business. Fuel and catering and other facilities that deliver food are limited, so these facilities will not operate from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next day. Actually, it is the harmonization of local regulations with those already adopted by the Government of Serbia, which are valid from tonight.
In addition, the working hours of bakeries, fast food kiosks and similar service stores are limited, except for the preparation and delivery of food to your home.
The organization of celebrations or performances of musical / scenic program is not allowed in the mentioned facilities. These restrictions also apply to catering facilities operating within service stations (gas stations), as well as to the operation of bookmakers, casinos and other similar facilities.
The owners or tenants of the catering facilities are obliged, in compliance with all sanitary recommendations and prescribed measures, to remove the guests from their facilities before 9 pm, this order also applies to the gardens.
No more than two people at a table
The catering services are also obliged to ensure that no more than two people can sit at a table. Parents and minor children or people who live in a shared home are exempt from this rule, with a mandatory distance of two meters between tables.
Svilajnac’s crisis staff statement further states that catering facility staff must wear a protective mask at all times, while guests at these catering facilities can remove protective masks only while seated at the table, but they should use them when entering or leaving the premises or when going to the bathroom. or other premises of the same.
At the entrance of the facility, data on the person responsible for the implementation of epidemiological protection measures, as well as the allowed number of people in the facility, must be displayed.
The statement also adds that any breach of the measures carries responsibility for a misdemeanor. A fine of 5,000 dinars will be imposed on the natural person who fails to comply with the mandatory use of a protective mask.
Svilajnac Municipality President Predrag Milanović said that at this time, the basic task is to protect the population.
– At this time, the Covid-19 virus has been confirmed in more than a hundred people. For a municipality of our size, we believe that this is a high number, although we know that there is a municipality with a higher number of infected, we continue to think that we must act as soon as possible. Our basic task is to protect the health of the population, and that means allowing the normal functioning of all institutions that are at the service of citizens – said Milanović, it is stated in the announcement of the Municipal Assembly of Svilajnac.
By the way, today Bela Palanka introduced an emergency situation, which increased the number of cities and municipalities that introduced this measure to about 20.
