An MMA fighter, Dušan Panajotović (42), committed an incident in a hotel restaurant in Kopaonik, because the waiter refused to serve him.
After a brief discussion with the restaurant staff, he became angry and broke tables and other inventory in the restaurant. It is not yet known why the waiter did not want to serve Panajotović.
As previously announced from the Kraljevo Police Department, Panajotović broke the inventory under the influence of alcohol and disturbed public order and peace. He was ordered to remain in detention for up to 48 hours, and will be taken to the Raska Basic Prosecutor’s Office, along with a criminal complaint.
By the way, MMA fighter and kick-boxer Dušan Panajotović, who was arrested last night in Kopaonik for breaking inventory in a restaurant, has long been known to the police. The public came to the fore for the alleged beating of the footballer Vladimir Volkov and the slapping of the singer Goga Sekulić. The media also know him as the ex-boyfriend of Stanija Dobrojević and Soraja Vučelić.
In addition to his sports career and connections with famous stars, he is also known for his problems with the law. He has already been sentenced to three years in prison, three and a half years in prison, because in 2010 he tried to extort 50,000 euros from the vice president under threat of murder with his associates.
Then, at the end of 2017, by decision of the High Court of Belgrade, he was sentenced to four years in prison for wounding a security guard in the stomach of a nightclub worker. He was later sentenced to a single sentence of 7 years. However, the Belgrade Court of Appeal overturned that verdict in 2018.
The explanation of the decision indicates that the first instance verdict is based on significant violations of the provisions of criminal procedure, since the dictum is incomprehensible, self-contradictory and the reasons for the verdict are contradictory opinions.
