In the past 24 hours, 341 coronavirus cases were recorded in Serbia, of which 237 were from Belgrade, representing 70 percent of the total number.
Belgrade again became the largest hotbed of kovida-19.
After Belgrade, the highest number of new infections is in Novi Sad 25, followed by Kragujevac with 19 and Valjevo with 15.
Three new cases have been reported in Kikinda, and elsewhere in Serbia there are fewer than three confirmed cases.
The number of hospitalized at the moment is 768, and the Minister of Health, Zlatibor Lončar, warned today that the number of patients receiving hospital treatment is increasing, as well as that the temporary hospital of kovid in the Arena has received the first patients .
The deputy director of the Batut Institute of Public Health, Darija Kisić Tepavčević, said that there are currently about 730 patients with kovid 19 in Serbian hospitals, noting that temporary hospitals have also started to fill up. The doctor said that the most effective measures are until the corona virus vaccine appears, wearing masks and keeping distance.
