On the occasion of the Day of Reconciliation in the First World War, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, will present awards to the people and institutions who deserve it in the fight against kovida 19, as well as to other personalities.

– I want to congratulate everyone for the great party, we are celebrating the moment of the Serbian tragedy, but also the Serbian victories – said the president.

He added that being honest is nothing more than constantly giving without reservation.

– Today, it is impossible for me to try to pay off the debt we have with all the winners. Instead, I want to thank you. They have given more than ever, much more than they owe, so it will be enough for most of us to continue living. You often wonder how you managed to find that strength in yourself and how nothing was difficult for you. You could do it because you are honorable and responsible people. I tried to use the decree to thank at least partially all the people who saved other people’s lives by risking their own, the president noted during his speech.

That is why he thanked all of them because they are exceptional, honorable people, who knew how to give, without anyone asking for them, and returned their debt to society, the State and the people.

– Did you know that on the small number of them we all depend, that, without our heroes in the first line of defense, we could only bow our heads and wait for the invisible enemy to exterminate us.

– I would like to thank you, Dr. Kon, Dr. Pelemis and all the other people who receive the highest possible requests that you can receive, and I tell you that I know how easy or simple it was for you. Let me know that you knew you were doing the hardest work in a country where few would have respect. When we say that we should close something, then they will say that we should not, when we say that something should be opened, they will say that we should not, when you say that something is beautiful, they will say that it is ugly. It is always so. Few want to respect those who know better and more. I’m glad that we had people who thought differently in the crisis team, that you guys made the best decisions. Thankful that you believed in our health, in the state, and you did not look for a reason enough just to attack the state, because conspiracy theories and criticism, when difficult, are the easiest to pass, you have already put yourself in the line of defending people, citizens and protecting. values that you also defended to the people – said Vučić.

The president said that today is the most difficult day for Serbia in terms of the number of dead and newly infected crowns with the virus, but, as he himself says, with all that, Serbia remains in the top five European countries.

He stressed that it was not just their professional psoao, because they had to survive the biggest insults, adding that he was infinitely grateful that they agreed to that.

– I am infinitely grateful to many little heroes, and among the winners we also have cleaners. We also have a woman who was on the pillar of shame, Muamera Turković, who was tried to convict for examining a girl in front of the hospital so that the girl would not catch it. Here are people who fought every day, risked their lives and who defended our country and our people in every possible way. You still have a lot of work ahead of you, problems that you will have to solve, but I am absolutely sure that you will achieve it – he emphasized.

Vučić said that he made the decision to reward some journalists as well, adding that some did not receive recognition and that a mistake could have been made, which will be corrected by Sretenje.

He explained that some journalists stood out with their daily reports, entered the Red Zone, put on their spacesuits and tried to inform the public in a truthful and timely manner what kind of problem we are facing.

“This is a great honor for all those who receive the medal, not because I signed the decrees, but because it is granted by our state and it will continue to be a source of pride for the families, their children, so that they can always show how their ancestors they were worthy of surnames and names, those who dress and what they did for the country in the most difficult moments, ”he said.

Vučić thanked the winners for saving “many, many lives.”

– This is a great honor for all who receive the decoration, it is awarded by our state and it will continue to be a pride for their descendants to always show how their ancestors worked in the most difficult moments for their country. Thanks to you, we saved many lives. I know that Serbs don’t know how to thank and show how much we respect what you are doing for us and how grateful we are. In the end, this is still a recognition, said President Vučić.
