The free citizens’ movement will go to the elections to be held on June 21, the leader of this movement, Sergej Trifunović, announced yesterday. Analysts believe that with a good campaign PSG has a chance to pass the three percent threshold and enter parliament, but also that the deceptive behavior of leader Sergej Trifunovic could negatively affect the result.
Trifunovic also announced yesterday that PSG will go only to the parliamentary elections, and that locally it is possible to be on a joint list with “parties of principle”, and that “it certainly will not be SNS and SPS”.
– Because we are fighting against them. We will not speak to Serbia 21, Nenad Canak, Tatjana Matsura. I thought about the decision to go to the polls with time quarantined, I realized that the agenda called “boycott” had become a step, but that a few months ago it was the best solution. Even today, I persuaded all SzS people to go together on a list. Local elections are where I managed to go further in the negotiations with SzS, but we cannot go any further, it is a bone that they cannot swallow, said Trifunović.
He added that in relation to January, when the PSG made the decision to boycott, the circumstances changed significantly, followed by a pandemic, a state of emergency and rampant savagery by the authorities, which, as he said, showed that the dictatorship does not stop for lack of legitimacy. individual resistance.
– PSG’s decision to go to the polls is a worse decision than the boycott, because the question is whether they will be able to collect signatures. We are absolutely aware that no segment in terms of electoral conditions has changed for the better, on the contrary. Elections under Vučić will never be fair, until we take our destiny into our own hands – said Trifunović.
He claims that the strongest possible resistance is necessary.
– I applaud Obradović, this is how we will destroy them when we enter the Assembly. I do not allow Parliament to be better than Maja Gojković. We will fight by all means, I repeat, by all means, to restore your reputation. I want to look all the deputies in the eye and ask why they voted against the law on the treatment of children – said Trifunović.
He told Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić that he was a much better actor than he was and that he hated bad scripts, and that he decided to break it.
– We are aware that no segment has changed for the better. Everything is six times worse. The elections during Vučić will never be better – said Trifunović.
As he said, he regards Dragan Đilas and Vuk Jeremić as comrades-in-arms.
– All my questions were answered with stories about technical government, like in Macedonia. What I saw was that nothing could happen in the boycott of responsibilities – said Trifunović.
And what can happen in “action”? Can PSG enter parliament? The director of the public opinion research agency “Factor Plus”, Vladimir Pejić, says that “Blic” can do it, if Trifunović is not mistaken.
– I think that PSG can approve the census with a good campaign, but also that with their behavior and statements, Trifunović can also be approved. The entire movement’s campaign will be based on the energy of dissatisfied citizens, who hold a grudge and cultivate the image of intransigent people, people outside the mold. Sergei is very forgiven, the whole image of the movement is based on his personal charisma, Pejić thinks.
Its rivals are all opposition parties, except the nationally oriented ones.
– He will receive a little the votes of all the opposition parties, he will be a rival for almost everyone, except for the rightists. The PSG previously had six percent support, but when they said they would boycott the elections, they fell below three percent. It remains to be seen how the electorate that previously favored it will react to this change of heart, says Pejić.
It will target the biggest opponents of the government and supporters of the EU.

They will target two groups of voters, the first are those who are critical critics of the government, the biggest opponents of the government and most important to them, and the second group are those who are more civic-oriented, with a more modern approach to politics pro EU.
