George David was in a relationship with one of Predrag Cunet Gojkovic’s grandsons.
This secret was revealed by the rocker in the latest edition of the show “Zvezde Granda” after his candidate Alen Bajrović from Sarajevo delighted the jury with a performance of the legendary singer’s song “Kafu mi draga ispeci”.
Perhaps David would not have privatized his performance if Sasa Popovic had not asked him if he had ever heard of this folk music event.
– Cune Gojković is a man who invented a story before any American and British, who is called the man with the voice. These are the things that exist recorded in the music library of Radio Television Belgrade. And what Bobby McFarry did much later, after 20 years, the late Cune did when he was still a teenager, while singing in taverns with Tozovac and imitating instruments – said George David and added:
– These are some things I know, first because they interested me, and second because, when I was young, I had fun for a year and a half with one of his grandchildren. This recognition caused astonishment among those present in the study.
– Wow, we didn’t know that – Popović said, and the rocker thanked his candidate.
– Thank you very much, you did a real job. In addition to Bajrović, in the latest edition of the music contest, the jury was delighted with the girl from Sarajevo, Sladjana Zubčević, around whom the mentors rallied after masterfully performing the song “Lepi Moj”.
