BELGRADE – There will be no more storms against the Serbian people, no matter where they live, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic repeated tonight when asked if there is a possibility of further violence by Kosovar Albanians against Serbs after the arrest of Hashim Thaci and Kadri Veselji.
He told reporters that he was concerned for the Kosovo and Metohija Serbs, but that Serbia was doing everything possible on its own, as well as through the international factor, to save our people.
He also said that he did not know what the verdict would be for Veselj and Thaci in The Hague, but believed that it would not be easier for the Serbs.
“I fear bigger problems, and everyone who committed crimes must be held accountable for them,” Vucic said.
He said that there will be problems and difficulties for us, but that the Kosovo and Metohija Serbs know everything.
“You can fool somebody here in Belgrade, and you can’t fool the Kosovo and Metohija Serbs. That is why they gave great support to the Serbian List, because they know who is fighting for them,” Vucic said.
Regarding Dveri and Mladjan Djordjevic’s claims that he had agreements with the Kosovo Albanians before, and that they failed to bring charges, Vucic noted that he is not the one who chooses the Albanian representatives.
“Do not lecture me, for eight years I have been listening to the sermons of liars who introduce themselves as Obilići, and they are little mice, although they say they are great heroes,” said Vučić.
He said that they had met Thaci in Vienna long before, and that he knew even then that Thaci was a criminal.
“I knew it all the time, but I wanted to save the Serbs in KIM, negotiate and take responsibility. I succeeded in part, while they burned embassies, they prayed, they allowed Kosovo independence,” Vucic said.
He noted that during his time, 85 countries recognized the so-called Kosovo, and during, as he said, “Brankovic-Vucic”, 18 countries withdrew their recognition.
He also said that those who behave like this towards their country should be ashamed, noting that they are protesting against themselves, because they have done nothing for Serbia.
“You want to abolish the hospitals, the factories …” tear down everything, “Vučić asked, saying that he was never afraid of them, nor would he be afraid of them.
“I run this country in the most honest way, Serbia is the first in Europe,” he said.
He repeated that he does not tremble before Biden, nor before God, and that he tells the truth, and whoever does as much as he will say: “I take off my hat.”
