Images of a brutal attack by security workers on a woman in front of a store in New Belgrade shocked Serbia, and the victim of this brutal incident, AM (49), recounted what happened on the fateful night.

Namely, security worker MM savagely struck her on the head, after which she ended up in the Emergency Center, where she was found to have a broken nose, bruises on her head, and other serious bodily injuries. After receiving a brutal blow, she fell on the concrete and lost consciousness. By the way, this is a woman who suffers from epilepsy.

AM claims that the physical injuries are terrible, but the worst thing is that he still cannot recover mentally.

– In addition to the serious bodily injuries I suffered, the broken nose with dislocation, bruises on the head and cut lips, I still haven’t recovered mentally and that scene, like from a bad movie, makes my head spin at night. On the fateful night, I was accidentally in front of the store and came to help a boy who was alone. I asked him where his parents were and the boy told me that they were in the supermarket waiting for them. When I asked him if he wanted us to look for them, the boy answered affirmatively and I tried to go into the supermarket with him – says AM and adds that an MM security worker approached him at that moment and “arrogantly approached her”.

According to her, he told her to take care of herself and leave the child.

– I replied that I just wanted to help, but then he addressed me with derogatory words – says AM

She adds that “after a brief discussion, the security guard approached her and hit her on the head with all his might.”

– I fell and passed out, and when I regained consciousness, there were people next to me who tried to help me. I ended up in the Emergency Center with serious bodily injury. Those wounds will heal, but the mental ones I experienced will probably stay for the rest of my life – said AM

As he added, he will seek justice in the courts.

Recall, the incident occurred on September 24 at 7:20 p.m. The police quickly arrested the perpetrator, but the prosecution did not order his arrest, but he was released with a misdemeanor fine of 15,000 dinars.

The prosecution claims that the injured party did not immediately provide the list of injuries, so it could not be determined if and what type of injuries.

“If the minor bodily injuries were inflicted without tools, means or weapons, the prosecution begins on the basis of a private lawsuit. As the police received a report of the injuries from the injured party three days after the fact was reported, Only then was it a serious bodily injury. It was referred to the Prosecutor’s Office and a criminal complaint was ordered, ”said the Prosecutor’s Office.
