The president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and the president of the company Eagle Hills, Muhamed Alabar, are visiting the final works of the construction of the facilities of the Belgrade Gallery, within the project Belgrade on Water.
The Mayor of Belgrade, Zoran Radojicic, is with the President of Serbia, as well as the Minister of Finance, Sinisa Mali.
– This is our largest construction site, about 200 foreigners from Turkey, Philippines and other countries work, a total of 2,850 people work here, I am proud of what we are doing. This main central part is very beautiful, it is the largest shopping center in this part of Europe – said Vučić during the tour.
The president noted that Belgrade is becoming a world metropolis and that it will be able to attract a greater number of tourists.
Vučić says that Serbia is the best in Europe in terms of the degree of infection by the kovid-19 virus.
“When we get over that, we can move on,” says the president.
Vučić said that he is happy when he sees his political opponents walking along the waterfront, because that means they accepted him.
Commenting on the appearance of the mall, the president said that the facility covers 300,000 square meters. Vučić also says that the citizens of Serbia see how and how much Belgrade is being built on water, and that support for this facility is growing more and more.
The President of Serbia said he is proud to note that 2,850 people work here today, 200 of whom are foreigners.
– Thanks to Praise for the fantastic work, you can see that this is not over, but it looks beautiful. The tower moves forward, it will be a new image of Serbia, not only of the Balkans but also of southeastern Europe. I am proud of the great job Mohamed Alabar has done here. I am grateful to him for devoting so much energy and attention to Belgrade – said the President.
– This also talks about how much manpower is needed in certain areas of Serbia and how much space there is for employment, Vučić noted.
Vučić says he is proud that this project emphasizes the strength of the Serbian economy.
– I think that by the end of the year we will be the country with the highest growth rate.
– I have visited all the capitals of Europe, there is no such beautiful walk anywhere, I am very proud of Belgrade and Serbia – emphasized Vučić.
The president said he asked Alabar to have the tower completed before St. Nicholas next year.
– I requested and agreed with Alabar to finish this tower next year before Saint Nicholas, which means that in a year and two months the tallest building in Serbia and Southeast Europe will be finished and phenomenally illuminated. My job is just to prepare good fireworks, we will prepare good fireworks. It will be a new image of Serbia, the most modern part not only of Serbia and the region, but also of the whole of Southeast Europe, Vučić said.
After the visit, Eagle Hills President Muhamed Alabar thanked everyone involved in the Belgrade on Water project, as well as the media and the President of Serbia. He noted that Belgrade is worth investing in.
