Basketball player Milica Dabović recalled the difficult times of the past and made special reference to the father of her son Stefan, who, as she says, gave up his heir.
– I am a happy and fulfilled person. Time flew by with him. Until then, I was alone, moving forward, pushing on my own. It’s so much easier when you have the right man by your side. I got the man of my life, Stefan, by birth. I can’t describe my love for him in words – she said, adding how difficult it was for her to raise a child on her own, while her father was there “just in a hurry.”
– It was too difficult to raise a child alone. His father hasn’t been with us long, thank God for that. He gave up his son in every possible way. I do not blame him, tomorrow it is easier for me to explain to my son what his father did. I’m sure Stefan won’t be interested in such a father. The fact is that he appeared several times, in raids, just to take what he needed. I’m sorry that you came into my life just to rob me. I cannot accept the fact that I chose a man who has a diagnosis from a psychiatric institution in Belgrade as the father of my son. I am sorry to have chosen you out of all the people. It is a distant past and my son and I live in peace. Like any mother, I fight for my son.
The former member of the Serbian national team also revealed if she is still in contact with Stefan’s father and how she feels about it.
– She disappeared two years ago and she’s not interested in her son. I’m glad about that now. Five days before the birth he did not know his real name and surname. Therefore, it was not about the father being registered on the birth certificate. I just hope he takes care of at least the first child.
