ČAČAK – The death of a woman whose body was pulled from the Morava riverbed on Friday was caused by drowning, an autopsy showed.
According to the pathologist’s conclusion, no injuries were noted on the drowned woman’s body. The police presumption was that the drowned woman was Snježana Zoranović, the mother of an eight-month-old baby, who has been wanted in Čačak for more than a month.
We remind you that the husband of the missing Snježana Zoranović identified the body, but could not say with certainty that it belonged to his wife. He said the clothes and shoes correspond to the one in which Snježana, according to his claims, left the apartment in the center of Čačak on November 7.
According to the information of the investigation, the corpse of the woman spent at least three or four weeks in the water and is in a phase of unrecognizable disintegration. In the further investigation procedure, identification will be made.
