After defeating the German Kefer in the quarterfinals of the Rome Masters after three sets, Novak Djokovic did not immediately leave the field of Foro Italica.

He stayed to enjoy watching the quarterfinal duel between Muguruza and Azarenka (2: 1).

Everyone was struck that he was not alone, there was a mysterious blonde by his side.

It quickly emerged that he was in fact a well-known person from Novak’s team. Elena Capelaro works in public relations.

And who is she and where is she from on Novak’s team?

Elena and her partner Edoardo Artaldi (everyone calls him Dodo) are Italian managers.

They met Djokovic in 2009 when he only had one Grand Slam title (Australian Open 2008). He then signed a contract with an Italian sports equipment company where Artaldi worked.

– We practically lived together. Elena and I try to create the atmosphere you need by knowing how much time you spend traveling the world without being separated from your family.

When Novak parted ways with the renowned Italian brand, he continued to work with Artaldi, who left the company to be the manager of the Belgrade man. Since then, he has become part of the Serbian family.

– We try to be as professional as possible, but our relationship is too personal. We live together seven days a week, and these nine years behind us have been simply “rich.” Sometimes we drag ourselves by the ears – explained the Italian in an interview.

Elena is with Novak more and more often as Edoardo travels less and less.
