Former Ukrainian MP Yevgeny Dayday was questioned about the attempted assassination of Radoje Zvicer, who, along with Slobodan Kašćelan, is considered the alleged leader of the Kavač clan. He revealed how he organized the entry of paid killers into Ukraine, as well as how he provided them with drivers: two policemen from the Kiev regiment and his wife’s business partner, reports the Ukrainian portal Detective-Info.
The suspects in the attempted liquidation of Zvicer are Stefan Đukić and Emil Tuzović from Montenegro, as well as Petar Jovanović and Milan Branković from Niš. Zvicer was shot dead in May last year near the building where he lives in Kiev.
– The former MP described in detail how he managed to bring paid killers to the country, but that he did all that at the request of his friend from Poland – he said at the hearing and added:
– I asked my wife’s business associate to meet with the passengers. He went to Bucovina in a “Toyota” and there he met Brankovic, Jovanovic and Tuzovic. He transported them to Odessa, where they got into another “Toyota”, where they were later arrested.
Let us remind you that Zvicer was seriously injured on May 26 last year and soon Đukić, Tuzović and our citizens Jovanović and Braković were arrested. It was speculated that the assassination attempt on Zvicer was revenge for the murder of Igor Dedović and Stevan Stamatović in January 2020 in Athens.
– Zvicer’s attackers should have received 600,000 euros, half a million for execution and more than 100,000 euros for the expenses of his stay in Ukraine. However, they failed to liquidate Zvicer, because his wife Tamara opened fire on the attackers, Detective Info previously reported, adding:
– The Ukrainian police did not find the cartridges or the pistol with which Tamara Zvicer fired, which is why it is believed that she threw it after the exchange of shots. By the way, Nishlija Petar Jovanović (46), also known as Peca Pitbull, is a suspect in the murder of Zvicer’s godfather, Marko Vuković (41), on January 17 at Bežanijska kosa in Belgrade.
