The emergency situation has been in place for almost two months in Trstenik, where 42 new cases of the virus have been registered. In an emergency situation, Aleksandrovac is somewhat shorter than Trstenik. Also in this municipality there was again a greater number of new registrants: 27.
An increasing number of inhabitants of Ćićevac appear with respiratory problems and the possibility of the same scenario occurring as for Trstenik and Aleksandrovac is not excluded. Six more positive smears were recorded in Bruce and three in Varvarin.
Since mid-March, the corona virus has been confirmed in 3,088 people in Rasina district, and the majority in Krusevac: 1,601. Since the beginning of the epidemic, KOVID-19 has been confirmed in 680 people in Aleksandrovac, 433 in Trstenik, 152 in Brus, 113 in Varvarin and 109 in Ćićevac.
There are currently 90 patients in the Kruševac Infectious Diseases Department with symptoms of KOVID-19. Capacities are not full yet.
The inauguration of the KOVID regional hospital in the “Rasina” barracks, the second of its kind after Batajnica, should be on December 15. The capacity of this specialized health institution will be 500 beds, and within the new hospital complex an admission clinic, intensive and semi-intensive care, a central facility, a hall, hemodialysis, a laboratory and a diagnostic department are planned.
