The Center for Local Self-Government announced today that city urban planner Marko Stojčić received the largest funding increase of more than 100 percent with the proposed Belgrade budget for 2021.
According to his information, in the Belgrade budget for 2020, the costs of his office amounted to 24.29 million dinars, and according to the proposal for 2021, both 51.24 million.
The Center for Local Self-Government addressed questions to the city government:
1. “Did Marko Stojčić deserve such an award for not meeting all deadlines for works or for being willing to cut down the forest in Kosutnjak?”
2. Is it possible to increase the costs of the administration and the cabinet of civil servants, while at the same time reducing health expenses and even the budget for environmental protection by 900 million dinars? “
