Work hours will be limited for everyone except for pharmacies, food delivery, gas stations without gas, and the economy.

No work will be allowed from 9 pm to 5 am.

As the Prime Minister pointed out, the measures will last for 15 days, until December 1, when new steps will be decided.

“The next restrictive measure is the movement ban, but we are not in favor of that. We are not thinking about it now,” Brnabic said.

Brnabic reiterated that the measures related to schools have not changed for now and that the schools are safe.

“Across Serbia, 39 students are infected in primary schools, of which 20 are in Belgrade, and in all secondary schools 52 students are positive, of which 22 in Belgrade,” said Ana Brnabić.

She said that Serbia has one of the lowest deaths from the corona virus in Europe and the world.

At a press conference in the Serbian government, Brnabic said that the death rate from kovida 19 is currently 1.3 percent and that only a few countries have a death rate lower than that.

He also said that there are still free beds in hospitals, adding that Serbia is in the “green zone” despite “alarming figures” on infection.

He called on citizens to wear masks indoors and outdoors where there is no possibility of physical distance, such as at bus stops.

Brnabic said that the inspection began on November 13 and that the imposition of mandatory fines began based on the reforms to the Law for the Protection of the Population against Infectious Diseases.

Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar said that the Selters Spa will become a kovid hospital today and, starting tomorrow, also the Koviljača Spa.

“This will not end in the next 15 or 20 days, it will take time, but we need these 15 days to reduce the risk. After 9 pm, all those things must be closed, we must adhere to all the measures during the day as well, ”Loncar said.

Yesterday, 3,822 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Serbia and 17 people died. A total of 81,086 people have contracted this virus in our country so far, and 989 deaths have been registered.

Deterioration of the health of Patriarch Irinej

The information service of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC) confirmed today that Patriarch Irinej’s health condition has deteriorated.

It should be remembered that the patriarch was previously hospitalized in the Karaburma Military Hospital due to an infection with the kovid 19 virus.

“In the early morning hours of November 15, 2020, symptoms and signs of worsening chronic heart failure appeared. His Holiness’s status is stabilizing with the treatment measures applied,” the announcement states.

The Serbian Orthodox Church added that the council of medical specialists continuously monitors Patriarch Irinej’s state of health.
