Belgrade’s First Basic Prosecutor’s Office filed an accusation against Dveri leader Boško Obradović and three other people for violence against Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar and MP Marjan Risticević, in front of the National Assembly on May 8 this year.

The indictment charges Obradović and the others with the crime of violent behavior. In addition to Obradović, Davor Đurđević, Marko Đurđević and Slaviša Miletić are also accused, which was published on the website of the prosecution. In the motion, the prosecution asked the court to find the defendants guilty and sentence them to appropriate prison terms. They are accused of trying to prevent Loncar and Risticevic from entering the Assembly with insolent and ruthless behavior, while other deputies entered.

Obradovic and other suspects denied having committed the crime at the hearing, stating that there was no physical confrontation or desire for it, but that it was a political protest by four deputies from the Serbian Dveri movement. According to the prosecution, the other suspects said they attended a meeting of the Serbian Dveri movement on that occasion. During the process, the prosecution questioned both the witnesses and those injured, and obtained an opinion on the injuries suffered by Risticevic on that occasion.
